My Story

My path to UX design has been anything but linear—but it’s always been guided by curiosity and a love for understanding people.

I started with a degree in psychology, driven by a fascination with how people think and why they make the decisions they do. That interest in human behavior eventually led me into commercial landscaping (as it allowed me to work with 100's of different people on a weekly basis), where I worked as an Account Manager designing full-scale outdoor environments. I fell in love with the creative process—bringing spaces to life based on how people would move through and use them—but I didn’t explore that passion further at the time. After years of long, demanding days and being pulled in every direction, I knew I needed a change.

I shifted into the software side of the landscaping industry, working in sales at startups developing tools for landscape professionals. While the roles were strategic, I often found myself naturally drawn to marketing and UX conversations—working closely with those teams, offering ideas, and diving deep into how users engaged with the product. When I finally discovered UX design as a discipline, it clicked instantly. It blended everything I cared about: understanding people, designing meaningful experiences, and solving real problems.

Now, I’m excited to begin this next chapter—bringing together my background in psychology, my love for design, and my firsthand experience with user pain points to create thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences.
